Give up & Trust God

I have learned that the fastest way up is down. When we give up and stop striving, then we can see how hopeless we truly are. When we realize just how poor and wretched we truly are, we are finally ready to receive the true riches from God. Jesus Christ appeared to me on an airplane on January 17, 2018. This has been an exciting journey. I simply told Jesus I was sick and tired of all my fears and insecurities. I pleaded with God to rescue me and to show me the truth. I submitted myself to God by telling Him I chose Him with every cell in my body and every ounce of energy I had. I willed myself to give myself completely over to God and offer Him my own will. I did not want it anymore. I gave up. That was the best decision I ever could have made! Nearly two years later, the Lord has led me to plant a home church and equip the saints for ministry. The greatest treasure is the peace Jesus has given me. This peace has not left me since that day when I beheld His glory. His peace guards my heart and mind and now I am eager to help others give up striving and just go to Jesus! He is enough.
